Japanese Au Pair has been started their applications

This is Spring, and in Japan, March is the end of the academic and business year. School year starts in April and ends in March. Consistently, professional calendar year starts in April and ends in March.

What does it mean for host families who are seeking Japanese au pairs?

Spring is the very important season to start communicating Japanese au pairs.
Also, you might consider welcoming a Japanese au pair sometime between April and June. Many Japanese nationals are seeking an au pair opportunity with April, May arrival after graduating from school or finishing their employment contract.

Some Japanese nationals think that they would like to work until March, then resign their job and focus on their au pair application process.

I realized several Japanese nationals started working seriously about their applications.
We are working hard to encourage them to finish their applications.

Au Pair Japanese Connection is hosting a recruiting event in Tokyo and Osaka in June.
I am hoping to promote au pair programs in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, France etc.

Busy recruitment season has been started.
I will keep you posted!

Would you like to speak with Rinako?

Rinako is looking for an American host family. She has graduated from a Japanese university in 2018 and her major is Early Childhood Education. So, she has formal education on childcare and had a variety of childcare experiences to earn her bachelor’s degree. She is infant qualified.

She is a cheerful and active person and love to travel. As a fact, she has visited six countries so far.

If you would like to see her full description, please go to InterExchange Au Pair USA’s website.
First go to, Featured Au Pair page where you can select the language that au pairs speak. Select Japanese and you will see Japanese au pairs currently available.

For example, if you like to learn more about Rinako, hit the Learn More, and you will be navigated to leave your information on your inquiry form.
You can start talking with prospective au pairs without any financial obligation. So, let’s start reviewing Japanese au pairs.

Japanese Male Au Pair is available

Have you considered a male au pair for your family?

There are not many male au pairs, BUT, I would say some host families are definitely in need of a male au pair. If you are one of them, we currently have a male au pair seeking a host family to be matched.

Atsushi is 25 years old and has been working as a social worker for few years and has experience with childcare as well. I met with him in Tokyo this summer, and he is a polite and kind person.

If you are interested in hosting a male au pair, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Host families in New York area?

We have two Japanese au pairs who would like to be matched with a family in New York area.

The two au pairs are looking for families who live near New York City or easy access to the city with a public transportation.
Both au pairs speak English very well: one of them graduated from a university in Finland, and the other one has experienced 1 year of internship abroad in the United States before.

They are ready to arrive now.

So, if you are looking for an excellent au pair who speaks English well, have overseas experiences, and of course, good childcare experience, please contact us.

Currently Available Au Pair page has been updated

Hi, everybody!

I am still in Japan, recruiting Japanese au pairs.
The currently available au pair page has been updated with new Japanese au pairs.

The available Japanese au pairs are ALL ready to arrive as early as this summer.  So, it is not too late for searching an au pair for summer arrival.

There are also several Japanese au pairs who are hoping to arrive by the end of this year or early next year. Of course, there will be more au pairs for spring 2018 arrival.

As usual, I am working very hard to send many Japanese au pairs.

Don’t worry, we have new au pair applications from Japan

If you are host families and looking for Japanese au pairs, you may be feeling that there are not enough Japanese candidates. If you feel that way, don’t worry. Au Pair Japanese Connection is working on new applications and hopefully, more profiles ready to match for you.

You may have felt that when you review au pair profiles, they have been already taken by other families. This is because host families can review multiple profiles at a time, and therefore, you may be able to review profiles, but cannot ask for an interview via the system.
Host families will select one au pair, and rest of them are released. So, you will then able to review their profiles and start talking with the au pairs.

In June, I will meet with prospective Japanese au pairs in Tokyo and Osaka, also several more cities in Japan. I would like to promote the au pair program and recruit Japanese nationals.

If you have questions about Japanese au pairs, please do not hesitate to contact us.
